The JEE Main 2014 examination is knocking at the door and the students who are planning to appear for this examination must take it seriously because it is the gateway for various other entrance examinations such as NITs, IITs, CFIS and SFIs. The important dates for this examination have already been declared and the candidates can check them out on the official website of JEE Main. The candidates would be tested on their analytical and reasoning ability and also on their comprehension skills. Candidates must pay attention to the eligibility criteria this year because unlike other years a student would be able to give the examination thrice if he or she fails in any of the attempts.
The candidate must be born on or after 1st October 1989 in order to be eligible to appear for the 2014 examination. Another thing that has been added to the eligibility criteria is that the candidate must pass his higher secondary examination in the year 2012 or 2013. The student who will appear for the 2014 higher secondary examination will also be eligible to appear for the 2014 JEE Main examination. Any candidate will have the option of appearing for both the online and offline examination or he can only choose one examination if he wants. The submission of the application form of JEE Main 2014 will start from the 15th of November 2013 and will continue till 26th December 2013. Candidates would be able to download their admit cards from the official site of JEE Main from 1st March 2014 onwards. After the exams are over the results would be declared on or after 3rd of May 2014 and the overall rank of the candidate in India would be declared on or before 7th of July 2014. The candidate would be able to check his or her results in the website itself.
